 P: Tive o prazer de ver pessoalmente esta figura no curso de pintura que fiz com Fernando em Porto Alegre. Ao ver a figura ao vivo, tive uma impressão totalmente diferente da visão que temos ao ver a foto, e isso me inspirou a pinta-la também.

E: I had the pleasure of seeing in person this figure in painting course with Fernando in Porto Alegre. Seeing the figure live, I had a totally different impression of the vision we have to see the photo, and it inspired me to paint it too.

P: Inicio todos meus trabalho pensando em como será a base para a figura, pois acredito que a ambientação correta faz toda diferença na apresentação final da figura. Para isso pesquiso algumas imagens e inicio o trabalho pela base. Seguem algumas imagens que serviram de inspiração para composição da base. A base ainda ganhará uma arvore com folhas em tonalidade de outono, quando as folhas mudam de cor e ficam entre com tons amarelados e alaranjados.

E: I always start all my work thinking how will be the terrain of the base, because I think the right ambiance makes all the difference in the final presentation of the figure. For this I search some pictures and start working at the base. Here are some images that served as inspiration for the composition of the base. The base also get a tree with leaves in shade of autumn, when the leaves change color and fall between with yellowish tones and orange.

Essa figura é fruto de uma brincadeira que eu e uns amigos fizemos. Nos reunimos em um sábado e todos começamos a pintar a mesma figura, como forma de trocar ideias, técnicas e informações.

Depois cada um terminou a sua em casa. Essa brincadeira surgiu pois meus queridos amigos do GPSF pediram para eu ajuda-los a iniciar na pintura de figuras e então tentei passar um pouquinho do pouco que sei.

Quando trouxe a figura pra casa ela ficou parada quase 3 meses e então resolvi termina-la mas não gastei muito tempo e não me empenhei o tanto que podia. O resultado ficou razoável, até porque é uma figura genérica, onde os detalhes, principalmente do rosto, já se perderam a tempos...
